Abstract
In general, microgrids can be operated in two modes: grid-connected and grid-disconnected. As a small-scale power system, microgrids can achieve the basic objective of the power grid, including reducing losses, increasing reliability, reducing emissions, and saving economic. When the microgrid is connected to the grid, the sharing of active and reactive power and its supply to the consumer is done with greater reliability and higher quality. Sometimes, events occur in the grid that disconnect the grid-connected microgrid from the main grid, which is called microgrid islanding. When the microgrid becomes islanded, it must independently supply local loads. The time of islanding detection is of great importance so that timely and rapid detection can reduce the losses caused by the separation of the microgrid from the main grid. There are various methods for detecting islanding of a microgrid based on solar modules, in this study, the method based on positive voltage feedback is used. The presented method is based on the measurement of parameters from the PCC point and can be analyzed. In this method, based on the feedback taken from the voltage amplitude at the PCC point, the analysis of microgrid islanding is presented based on the fuzzy controller. The simulation is performed in MATLAB software and on the sample system.
